Meet our church secretary, Renee Simko and her family.
Renee has been
a member of Mentor Christian Church for 20 years.
She is married to Thomas Simko. Thomas is a member of St. Anthony's of Padua Parish in Fairport Harbor. They
have three children: Brianna a sophomore in high school, Shania who is in the 6th grade, and Tristan who is in the second grade.
In her spare time she likes to watch movies with her
family, read, play games with the kids, and exercise. She is a big Harry Potter fan and also volunteers with
her daughters' girl scout troup, her daughters' dance academy, her son's baseball team,
and her son's cub scout den.
Besides being
church secretary, Renee serves as a Worship Leader, Deacon, member of the Cabinet of Business Affairs, Elder, and Sunday
School teacher for children 10 and up. Renee has a strong faith in God and Jesus Christ. She has been on A Walk to Emmaus to continue growing with the
God. She also tries to help her family build a stronger relationship with God.
